We got our first Rat Terrier puppy in June 2000, and didn't waste any time in taking her for her first boat ride. During that summer, she became a true River Rat puppy, so it was only natural to name her River Breeze.

Breeze was 1 yr old when we decided to find another Rat puppy. After scanning the local newspaper for several months, I saw an ad that caught my eye. Super Tiny Rat Terrier Puppies. I called right away and made an appointment to visit the kennel. Although I had to drive almost an hour, the trip was well worth it.

Since Breeze was also getting a new family member, she went with us to pick out the puppy. One particular puppy seemed to be very mature for his 9 weeks, not too silly, as most puppies go. He seemed very interested in Breeze and so we picked him.

His name became River Bandit. And true to his name, he loves going to the river. Like Breeze, he has become a valuable member of our family, giving us immense pleasure in having them in our lives.

Pebbles is the third of the River Ratz, and weighs in at a whopping 8 lbs. She has proven to be a superb mother.
